Cream cotton, covered in large golden-yellow blooms with smaller pink buds threaded between them. The flowers are drawn open and generous, the way marigolds actually sit, rather than tidied into rows. It's a print that carries a room.

Square neckline, three-quarter sleeves, and along each cuff a narrow scalloped lace border — a small finishing touch that lifts the whole thing above an ordinary printed kurti.

The corset lacing at the waist is the part you'll actually use. Draw it in on a day you want shape, leave it easy on a day you don't. Same kurti, and you decide each morning.

How to style it

Sage or ivory wide-leg palazzos is how it's shot, and it's the right call — a busy print wants a quiet bottom. Straight denim works just as well. Keep jewellery small: gold studs, a thin bangle. Kolhapuris or flat sandals finish it.

Fabric care

First wash separately in cold water. Gentle machine or hand wash after that, dry in shade, steam iron on the reverse. No bleach. Untie the lacing before washing so the cords don't tangle, and iron around the lace border rather than over it.

Made in small batches

Layas Marts produces every style in limited quantity. Once a size sells out, it may not return in the same print.
